As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the facility. Your presence supports a welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and clear communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as part of the job responsibilities. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and / or activities as required.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas of the healthcare location, reporting any suspicious behavior or persons to appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and visitors to address questions or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Follow all Allied Universal training, protocols, and guidelines specific to the healthcare environment.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
