Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Cobol Mainframe Developer / Programmer Analyst :

Job Description :

• Experience as a Mainframe Developer / Programmer Analyst with COBOL or Natural programming
• Demonstrated foundational experience with large-scale, complex mainframe productions systems
• Hands-on experience in design, implementation, and productions support of applications
• Mainframe Development background in design, analysis, and coding : COBOL or Natural programming, TSO / ISPF, JCL, and DB2.
• VSAM file skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency
• Perform application support tasks like systems support, security reviews, and maintenance tasks
• Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly
• Experience creating project documentation such as : technical specifications, process workflow, and database record and field specifications
• Experience to troubleshoot / resolve incidents and business support items in Mainframe
• Testing experience
• Experience in database management systems (IBM Data Studio, Squirrel)
• Experience as a Programmer, Analyst, or Systems Administrator
• Experience working on legacy system modernizations
• Public sector industry experience preferred
• Texas based candidates are required

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Pay Range- $50-60 / hour range
