Job Description
A PLC Programmer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software that controls machinery and automated systems in industrial environments. These professionals play a key role in streamlining manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring system reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC programs using languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams
- Collaborate with engineers and clients to understand automation requirements
- Create and interpret electrical schematics and control system diagrams
- Install, test, and troubleshoot PLC software on industrial equipment
- Maintain and update existing PLC systems to improve performance
- Document programming processes and system configurations
- Integrate PLCs with HMI (Human Machine Interface) and SCADA systems
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance staff

Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, with some areas experiencing high temperatures due to ovens. Initial shifts are Monday through Friday from 6 pm to 6 am, and is a 3,2,2 schedule.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.10 - $36.10 / hr.
