Traveling Alarm Technician
This is a travel position up to 75% of the time from your home location.
We are in search of motivated and dependable Alarm Technicians for service and specialized installation projects for the Orlando, FL area. Travel of 2-3 weeks at a time is normal unless otherwise specified. A company car is provided and you will work nights and day shifts as specified, so being comfortable with overnight shifts is a must.
Travel will be 5 -6 hours from your home with hotels and gas covered as well as a per diem each day.

Responsibilities :
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of cabling systems and equipment in various technologies
- Running low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including concrete wall drilling and conduit bending
- Completing wiring, connections, and equipment installations to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual compliance
- Installing, repairing, or upgrading fire alarm systems in accordance with building plans and electrical layouts
- Mounting sensors at designated locations and ensuring proper wiring and connections
- Testing newly installed systems to verify operational status
- Collaborating with team leads and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Conducting tests to ensure compliance with relevant codes and legal requirements
- Troubleshooting new system installations to ensure functionality and compliance
