SUMMARY

Bering Government Services, LLC, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Technical Writer – Information Technology. The Technical Writer will be responsible for supporting proposal development efforts by drafting, editing, and formatting technical sections within the Information Technology domain. This role ensures proposal content is accurate, compliant, compelling, and aligned with customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research, draft, edit, and format proposal content specific to Information Technology requirements.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop accurate, persuasive proposal narratives.
• Ensure all technical content complies with solicitation requirements, corporate standards, and customer expectations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and customer-focused language.
• Work with Proposal Managers and Graphic Designers to integrate written content into cohesive proposal volumes.
• Review and revise draft materials to ensure compliance, clarity, and consistency.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job is performed in a remote setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone system. The work described herein is a home office setting. Travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
