Job description
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to manage core accounting functions and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial reports, schedules, and variance analyses for monthly and quarterly close
Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Receivable process and support revenue recognition activities in accordance with GAAP
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience; CPA or CMA preferred
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP
Experience working within ERP systems for transactional accounting and reporting; SAP experience preferred
Solid working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including SOX compliance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including analyzing large data sets
