Kelly® is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to work at a premier manufacturing client in Eugene, OR.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00 per hour Shift: 1st shift (but open to working overtime and flexible shifts as needed)
What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Technician II? You’ll be: - Completing production and quality analysis of reagents, components, and finished products in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and the production schedule
- Effectively communicating and interfacing with workgroups to ensure daily production targets are met
- Working in standard and cleanroom environments following room-specific PPE requirements
- Operating and monitoring production equipment, making adjustments as needed for smooth operations and high-quality results
- Collaborating with other technicians to perform formulating, filling, and/or labeling of products
- Comprehending and following production paperwork, including product and label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checks
- Handling chemicals and hazardous materials safely and complying with all company safety regulations and ISO 13485 guidelines
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as needed
- Utilizing basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to support daily operational functions
- Performing other duties as assigned to support production needs
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: - Have demonstrated proficiency in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and protocol record retention
- Are able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials
- Can follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in all functions
- Are physically able to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift/move up to 40 pounds
- Possess strong communication skills and can work both independently and as part of a team
- Are open to working overtime and flexible shifts as needed
- Have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience Requirements: - Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- BS (or AS + relevant experience) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or other related life science discipline (a plus)
- 1+ year experience in a life science, biotechnology, or related discipline (preferred)
