Overview

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components for our specialized construction activities and equipment.  Challenged with installing, modifying, and troubleshooting the program setup of data acquisition systems on mobile drilling equipment.

This position is based out of Keller's Miami, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting, testing various designed systems, building electrical control panels, and assembling electrical components on heavy equipment / drill rigs and pumps.
• Assemble and install equipment at the shop facility and at various projects / jobsites.
• Trained to troubleshoot by reading electrical signals via software interfacing with Keller’s data acquisition systems.
• Repair industrial generators, air compressors and troubleshooting high voltage variable frequency drives as needed.
• Read, interpret, and analyze technical data from PLC’s.
• Efficiently troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, and read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

Attitude : Technicians must be self-starters, good at working with others, work well in the field, and able create order out of chaos.

Travel : This position requires travel with occasional night and weekend work. Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

Salary Range : $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
