  • Develop and communicate daily activity outlines for multiple trades across plant areas.

  • Maintain awareness of non-project site activities that could impact construction.

  • Ensure contractor compliance with site safety standards and the Construction Safety Plan.

  • Participate in daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) with contract trades.

  • Assist trades in obtaining Safe Work Permits, including walking scopes with operations.

  • Interpret and communicate Scope of Work documents (P&IDs, 3D Models, Isometrics, engineering documents) to field trades.

  • Provide constructability feedback to designers during equipment and plant design phases.

  • Identify and resolve installation issues during construction by coordinating with the design team.

  • Work with Operations representatives on line breaks, plant prep activities, and start-up readiness.

  • Apply knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) and CHEP procedures.

  • Perform walkdowns of complex piping systems to verify readiness and installation quality.

  • Be present and engaged on the plant floor for large portions of each day.

  • Collaborate with trades and Operations to sequence and prioritize construction work.

  • Walk scopes to assess progress and report advancement to the project scheduler.

  • Participate in investigations of any construction-related safety or quality incidents.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in field construction management, preferably in industrial or process plant settings.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and 3D models.

  • Solid understanding of safety protocols, including LOTO and permit systems.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for coordinating across trades, operations, and engineering.

  • Ability to remain highly engaged in active plant environments.
