We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer / Developer with strong hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley and Siemens control systems — specifically those used in GM GCCS and Ford FAST environments. These two platforms make up the majority of business, so deep familiarity is key.
This is not a maintenance or commissioning-only role — we need developers who can create and implement PLC programs from the ground up , not just troubleshoot or patch existing code.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement new PLC programs using Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) and Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7) platforms
Develop and integrate control systems for GM, Ford, and Stellantis projects
Create robust, standardized code following GM GCCS and Ford FAST specifications
Collaborate with engineering teams to design control logic, HMI interfaces, and system architectures
Perform simulation and offline testing prior to deployment
Support startup and commissioning when needed (not primary focus)
Ensure systems meet OEM and customer standards
Requirements
Experience : 2–15+ years of PLC programming (open to both mid-level and senior developers)
Platforms : Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000), Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7)
Automotive Experience : Required — GM Global Common, Ford FAST, and / or Stellantis platforms
Skills : Full-cycle program development (not just debugging or maintenance)
Education : No degree required — practical, hands-on programming experience preferred
OEM Experience : Preferred, but not required
Ideal Candidate
Has written and deployed PLC code from scratch —not just troubleshooting and debugging
Understands OEM standards and plant integration
Is detail-oriented and comfortable working in both development and commissioning environments when needed
