Job description
Prominent, international bank seeks an accountant for their broker dealer.
Responsibilities include :
Preparation of daily net capital computation under the SEC Rule 15c3-1
Preparation of weekly reserve formula computation under the SEC Rule 15c3-3
Preparation of the certain month end journals required for the US regulatory reporting
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to the sub ledger balance and underlying schedules
Assist in preparation of the monthly FOCUS report and supplemental schedules
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week in downtown Manhattan
Salary 90k-120k plus bonus DOE
Candidates should have 2-5 years of accounting experience at a broker dealer with knowledge of 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 calculations
