The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at TETER, you'll lead HVAC and plumbing system design projects for a wide range of building types-including commercial, healthcare, educational, and civic facilities. • Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring excellence at every stage.
  • Oversee the development of detailed construction documents, including system designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Support construction phase activities-responding to RFIs, conducting site visits, and reviewing submittals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and drafters, fostering growth and professional development.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer, with a strong focus on HVAC and plumbing system design.
  • Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer in the State of California, or ability to obtain registration within 6 months of hire.
  • Expertise in HVAC and plumbing system design, including system layout, equipment selection, load calculations, and code compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing project teams and resources.
