POSITION SUMMARY:
Support day-to-day production document control tasks, including sorting, processing, documenting, and filing MEC & Customer data so that it can be used when requested for product documentation. Upload and download data to customers and suppliers through the MEC Portal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scan, save and shred documents as necessary
- Assist transfer of data from internal server to cloud based storage
- Collect metrics for daily number of tasks completed
- Maintain internal data management systems, ensuring data accuracy and archival as necessary
- Manage release, distribution and recall of Controlled Documents. (includes managing approvals of ATPs)
- Maintain archives of controlled documents in accordance with requirements
- Providing and receiving data (e.g. RFQs, RFPs, POs) from Suppliers and Customers through the MEC Portal
- Coordinate with Information Technology on MEC Portal Maintenance
- Monitor metrics and support continuous improvement
- Maintain control and records of Xray film
- Other duties as assigned by Management
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Can perform in a teaming environment
- Must be able to speak/read/write English
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Medium-to-large office environment
- Fast paced office environment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments
SALARY RANGE:
Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $20/hr - $29/hr
