Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Participates in the identification of eligible students by completing intake assessments and required documentation, including Evaluation Report and Individualized Education Program development, to maintain compliance with state and federal child find regulations.
- Implements individual, group, and / or classroom speech therapy services in accordance with the child's Individualized Education Program to meet the needs of students across a variety of settings.
- Represents and promotes the AIU and Preschool Early Intervention by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships that effectively support families and advance student outcomes.
- Maintains required paperwork within timelines including Reevaluation Report, Individualized Education Program, progress monitoring, and other supporting documentation for each student on identified caseload to ensure student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Creates and maintains caseload schedule throughout an assigned region to ensure efficient and consistent service delivery per the Individualized Education Program.
- Remains current with new and effective practices, program procedures, laws and regulations by attending professional development to comply with Preschool Early Intervention program requirements.
