Duties include operating a radio console, transmit and receive radio traffic, document information in CAD or on cards, dispatch appropriate personnel and resources, answer emergency and non-emergency calls from the officers, public, media and allied agencies, use of computer equipment, access information, enter and update into various data bases, monitor and utilize communications related equipment, maintain related logs and files, sitting / standing for prolonged periods of time, work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime- as needed. Consistently report to work on time with a minimum of absences.

Working Conditions
STCC is on the 3 / 12 alternate work week with seniority signups. The communication center is located at the Stockton Area office.
