Entry- Level Sales Demonstrator

About the Role

Inland Home Remedies is seeking an Entry- Level Sales Demonstrator to support sales initiatives through product demonstrations and customer engagement in Riverside, CA. This contract/temporary role is designed for candidates who enjoy learning quickly, interacting with others, and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Success in this role means effectively presenting product information, supporting sales goals through clear communication, and representing the company professionally while following established procedures and guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, accurate product demonstrations to customers in assigned settings.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and usage in a clear and customer-friendly manner.
  • Answer customer questions professionally and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Support sales objectives by encouraging product interest and next-step actions.
  • Maintain an organized, presentable demonstration area and ensure materials are prepared.
  • Follow company policies, scripts, and demonstration procedures consistently.
  • Record relevant customer interactions and activity updates according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to share feedback and improve demonstration effectiveness.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a respectful, inclusive customer interaction style.
  • Participate in onboarding and training to build product and sales knowledge quickly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or actively pursuing education).
  • 0–1 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, or a related role (entry-level welcome).
  • Basic comfort with technology used for scheduling, reporting, or customer notes.
  • Ability to learn product information and communicate it clearly and accurately.
  • Strong customer service mindset with professional, respectful communication.
  • Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work assigned shifts as scheduled.
  • Comfort standing and interacting with customers for extended periods.
  • Effective listening skills and willingness to ask clarifying questions.
  • Ability to follow procedures and represent the company in a consistent manner.
  • Inclusive, team-oriented attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
