Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department hires certified Firefighter / Paramedics (FF / PM). Fourth (4th) semester paramedics may apply, however, you must obtain your State of Florida Paramedic certification by July 17, 2026. Candidates that have not yet received their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance may apply, however, you must obtain this certification by July 17, 2026. The CSPFD New Hire Assessment includes :

The following certificates must be uploaded AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION :

State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance OR

CPAT scores must be valid between the dates of April 30, 2025 - April 30, 2026. If you do not have a CPAT, please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT. State of Florida Paramedic License OR

Once your application is submitted, you will not be able to add any documents to your application. Applicants who receive their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance after the closing date, MUST submit a copy to asteckler@coralsprings.gov prior to July 17, 2026. Applicants who receive their State of Florida Paramedic License after the closing date, MUST submit a copy to asteckler@coralsprings.gov prior to July 17, 2026.
