Medical Jets International is actively seeking Paramedics to join our team! We are a growing company and invite you to join us.
Medical Jets International is a full service EMS providing both 911 and interfacility transport for the east region of the Metroplex. Our interfacility transport business consists primarily of urgent and emergent advanced life support work, including SCT and CCT calls. We also have opportunities for growth in mobile integrated healthcare and other healthcare services.
Medical Jets is seeking full time Texas certified or licensed paramedics. The Paramedic would be responsible for ensuring the administration of ALS patient care. He / she would work as a team with an EMT partner to ensure the safety and best possible medical care of such patients.

Duties Include :
- Receives and processes emergency “911” and non-emergency telephone requests for ambulance / emergency medical assistance.
- Receives requests for pre-scheduled / non-emergency ambulance.
- Assists customers with a variety of transportation related issues such as selecting the most appropriate vehicle by evaluating the needs and condition of the patient.
- Works closely with customers to ensure that the destination facility can accommodate the patient in the method by which they are transported (stretcher, Geri-chair, etc.).
- Maintains constant communication with customers and facilities to relay any information regarding a delayed response for a transportation request.
- Provides information to customers regarding insurance coverage for medical transportation, medical necessity for ambulance transportation and costs associated with non-covered transportation.
- Ensures that problems, concerns or issues with clients are promptly relayed to the business development team for immediately follow up.
- Assists other team members with solving challenging situations that require “thinking outside the box” to ensure a seamless transport that exceeds the expectations of the customer.
- Completes follow up calls on difficult transports to confirm that the transport was handled in a safe manner, and that the transport was a positive experience for the customer.
- Dispatches a variety of medical and non-medical vehicles and resources.
- Prioritizes requests based upon the severity of the injury / illness utilizing the Medical Priority Dispatch System (EMD / ProQA).
- Provides pre-arrival instructions for medical emergencies.
- Provides excellent customer service to the general public as well as callers from healthcare facilities.
- Monitors and tracks the movement of all units using an automatic vehicle location system / computer aided dispatch system.
- Obtains and relays pertinent information from callers and relays necessary information to field units to ensure the most appropriate response.
- Monitors system status to ensure that “posting” plans are in adherence for optimal response time performance.
- Requests response / assistance from ancillary agencies including police departments, fire departments and air ambulances.
