Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Specification Writer to join our team and play a key role in producing and securing high-quality specifications for our paint products. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work both independently and collaboratively to support project teams and ensure precision in all documentation. The Architectural Specification Writer will contribute to the development and maintenance of paint specifications for clients and play an integral role in business growth. The territory covers San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will reside within 30 miles of the city center.

Market Strategy, Development and Execution

Develop and execute a strategic account plan to drive growth within the architectural segment in partnership and under the direction of the Area Sales Manager

• Identify key opportunities to maximize specification growth and optimize accounts for long-term success
• Actively prospect and engage architects, consultants, and specifiers to ensure Benjamin Moore is specified in upcoming projects
• Qualify and manage leads to secure specifications, particularly for commercial projects

Act as the Go-to Authority and Technical Expert
