Job descriptionRegistration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. (Much achieve registration within the first months of eligibility or hire date.) - Required Must obtain a food handler's permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within one week of hire). - Required Six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility - Preferred. Knowledge for use of different formula's when assessing patient's nutritional needs; Completion of general and patient care orientation is required prior to providing patient care. - Required
The Food and Nutrition Department provides high quality nutrition care to our patients and guests. The Clinical Dietitian job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Manages and coordinates the activities of the Food & Nutrition Services department at all locations in order to ensure quality services. This includes patient services, retail services, catering services and in-patient clinical services for the health system.
- Serves as subject matter expert and coordinates process improvement projects.
- Leads teams and establishes deliverables to provide innovative culinary solutions.
- Specializes in the planning, management and execution of patient centered projects.
- Responsible for assisting Director with implementation of and recommendations for strategies to meet health system strategic plan and be consistent with the health system's mission, vision and values.
