About the HR Generalist Role
We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our People & Talent team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring Audiochuck’s people operations run smoothly and efficiently. The HR Generalist will focus on benefits administration, employee relations, policy implementation, and compliance — helping to foster an inclusive, transparent, and high-trust workplace environment.
What You’ll Do
Benefits Administration : Manage employee benefits programs – including health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k) – ensuring accurate enrollment, updates, and vendor communication.
Employee Relations : Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns; advise leaders on policies, performance issues, and workplace conflicts with fairness and discretion.
Policy & Compliance : Maintain and update company policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory changes and support audits.
HR Operations : Maintain employee records in the HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
Leave Management : Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, parental, medical, personal), guiding employees and leaders through process and timelines.
Culture & Engagement : Partner with the People & Talent team to enhance employee recognition and engagement initiatives that reinforce Audiochuck’s culture.
Reporting & Analytics : Compile HR metrics – headcount, turnover, and demographics – to support leadership decision-making.
Special Projects : Contribute to HR system improvements, process updates, and organization-wide initiatives.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
5–7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR business partner capacity.
Strong understanding of employment law, benefits administration, and employee relations best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build relationships across all levels.
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Google Workspace (or Microsoft Office Suite).
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
