The Consumer org is at the forefront of making crypto "productive" for our users. We are on a mission to simplify the complexities of earning. As a Product Designer, you will be a lead architect of this vision for our Lend product. You'll join a tightly knit, high-caliber team of designers, engineers, and product managers to solve the toughest UX challenges in DeFi, making earning as intuitive as a traditional bank account.

What you'll be doing

• Own the User Journey: Lead the end-to-end design for our core earning products, ensuring a seamless experience from initial discovery to long-term portfolio management.

• Scale and Evolve: Improve and scale our existing suite of products to support a wider user base and evolving market needs.

• Simplify Complexity: Transform sophisticated onchain mechanics into high-trust, intuitive user interfaces that make decentralized finance approachable for a global retail audience.

• Work Cross-Functionally: Partner 1:1 with your Product Management and Engineering peers to define and execute the product roadmap.

• Participate in Design Culture: Contribute to regular design critiques to receive and provide feedback, helping to level up the craft across the design team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Product Design experience, with a proven track record of shipping successful consumer-facing products at scale.

• Exemplary product thinking abilities, solutions-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.

• Growth Mindset: You enjoy using data and experimentation to refine user journeys and improve conversion funnels.

• Sharp attention to detail and mastery over your craft: visual design, interaction design, and prototyping in Figma.

• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience.

• Thrives in fast-paced (sometimes ambiguous) environments and can navigate regulatory guardrails without compromising UX.

• Low ego, loves to collaborate, and open-minded.

• Interest and experience in crypto and/or financial products.

Nice to Haves

• Direct experience designing financial, yield, or investment products.

• Experience with growth-focused design and A/B testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with onchain protocols and self-custody UX patterns.

• Experience with AI tools to accelerate the design workflow.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual *base *salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Base salary range shown. Total compensation also includes equity and bonus eligibility and benefits:

$144,500-$170,000 USD
