Visual Inspection Technician ($20-$22 / hr DOE)
Position Overview
This on-site position supports bulk formulation and filling operations for the sterile production of liquid injectable pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within a Drug Product Manufacturing environment.
Work Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 hours / day (excluding lunch).
Start Time : Flexible between 7 : 00 AM – 9 : 00 AM (consistent daily schedule required).
Additional Hours : Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine manufacturing tasks following internal SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
Prepare material components for manufacturing operations.
Accurately document activities in production batch records, logbooks, and other controlled forms.
Participate in inspection readiness and compliance initiatives.
Perform basic arithmetic and algebraic calculations.
Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment.
Assist in bulk drug formulation using lab equipment (e.g., mixers, balances, pH meters), under Class C (ISO 7) conditions.
Support sterile filtration activities under Class C (ISO 7) conditions.
Assist with sterile filling of various solutions (drug product, media, buffers) using automated systems, under Class C (ISO 7) conditions.
Collect and dispose of lab waste per standard procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Life Sciences preferred.
Experience :
1–2 years of relevant industry experience required.
Experience in a growth-oriented, cGMP contract manufacturing environment is a plus.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong time and project management skills; ability to multitask.
Effective communicator across departments and teams.
High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
