Junior Planner
Join our dynamic planning team to contribute to our manufacturing processes through effective resource planning and logistics management.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics, buying, and scheduling within an ERP/MRP system for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with various teams including procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings to support planning activities.
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing processes.
- Utilize Excel and Outlook efficiently to manage data and communication.
- Engage in multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in planning, logistics, or buying within an ERP/MRP system.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS (Industrial Financial Systems).
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- BOM management experience.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience with MRP and transaction processes is highly valued.
Work Environment
This role requires spending 50% of the time at a computer and 50% on the manufacturing floor. Work hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8 am to 4 pm. The position offers a collaborative and innovative environment, backed by cutting-edge technology and a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability. Enjoy 3 weeks of vacation and a 6% company match with 401K after 90 days. The production is onsite, providing a supportive and resourceful environment for this role.
