Job descriptionAccounting or Finance degree 5+ years of proven accounting experience Experience using Microsoft Office Excel, GP and Blackline Blackline matching preferred Franchise accounting experience preferred Positive and professional attitude Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong organizational skills and detail oriented Ability to perform manual data entry for up to 50% of an 8-hour workday Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods Capable of managing multiple tasks with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
The Junior Accountant position will assist in a wide range of duties, including reconciliations, researching discrepancies, period end close, and learning about accounting / finance activities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to :
- Franchise accounting
- Gift card accounting
- Credit card reconciliations
- Third party delivery reconciliations
- Researching any discrepancies
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal entries and financial statement preparation
- General administrative support
- Assists Accounts Payable with tasks related to month end
- Other projects as assigned
