We are currently looking for individuals to fill our Laborer / Yard Attendant role in Kansas City . In this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading pumps, hoses, and other pump-related accessories on and off of Cogent delivery trucks and third-party freight carriers while maintaining a clean and orderly yard environment to enable safe and efficient movement of motorized loading equipment. This position will work out of our Riverside Missouri facility.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identify and pull hoses, pipes, and fittings to fulfill rental and sales contracts.
• Work in cooperation with material handlers to safely load equipment on and off trucks and trailers.
• Assist in securing load utilizing straps and chains or other securement methods.
• Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash; accessories and equipment are organized and easy to access.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures and maintain a ‘Safety First’ approach when completing daily work tasks.
• Will be responsible for completing all paperwork associated with this position.
• There is a high level of responsibility in this position.
• The pace of work for this position is moderate to high, you must be able to multi-task, while also taking initiative with current and upcoming tasks and projects.
• There is travel with overnight stays that may be required for this position.
