Job descriptionSuccessful completion of an electrical apprenticeship program and attainment of Journeyman Electrician certification. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, preferably in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices. Proficient use of electrical tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, depending on project requirements. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Key Responsibilities :
- Execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities in accordance with project plans, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and wiring requirements for installations and repairs.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, controls, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, minimizing the risk of accidents and promoting a safe work environment for yourself and fellow team members.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate project requirements and ensure smooth execution.
- Perform electrical inspections and tests to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including labor hours, materials used, and any additional project documentation as required.
- Keep abreast of the latest electrical technologies, codes, and regulations, and implement best practices in your work.

- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice electricians, supporting their skill development and knowledge acquisition.
