Job description

Machinist

Pay: $26 $32/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to set up and operate machining equipment and produce quality parts according to drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate conventional and NC machining centers.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Adjust machine controls as needed.
Monitor machines and troubleshoot issues.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
Perform quality control on machined parts.
Assist with disassembly, inspections, and measurements.
Use a FARO Arm for measuring and inspections.
Assist with general shop duties, shipping and receiving, and on-site work as needed.

Qualifications:
Machining experience required.
3 5 years of formal machining education/training OR 10+ years of hands-on machining experience.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Experience with precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
