About the Opportunity :

Saratech is seeking a skilled and innovative Materials and Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the selection, development, and optimization of materials and manufacturing processes used in our products. This role requires a deep understanding of materials science, engineering principles, and manufacturing technologies to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Material Selection and Evaluation :

Identify and select appropriate materials for various applications, considering factors such as mechanical properties, durability, weight, cost, and environmental impact.

Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective production.

Conduct material testing and process validation, including stress testing, thermal analysis, and fatigue testing.

Investigate and analyze material and process-related failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for material specifications, process procedures, and testing protocols.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure materials and processes are aligned with project goals.

Participate in R&D projects aimed at developing new materials, improving existing materials, and creating innovative manufacturing processes.
