Description of Primary Duties
The Math Tutor will assist students in mastering math concepts and completing homework assignments. The tutor will work with students one-on-one, in small group settings, and over Zoom, helping them develop a deeper understanding of math topics. Mandatory training on Fridays is required. Required Qualifications Passed MTH with an A or an equivalent Math course. Must have an overall GPA of with at least a in the subject area. Letter of recommendation from a Math teacher is required. A willingness to learn, interest in tutoring students for success, and desire to help others become better math students are necessary for the job. Its a plus if students are willing to help with other subject areas like Chemistry, Biology, Accounting and/or Economics. Required Certifications Additional Qualifications Work Study students who meet these criteria especially welcome.
