Job descriptionOne or more years related experience High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to track multiple projects and provide accurate and detailed status updates Strong organizational and problem-solving / judgment skills Construction-based accounting software experience is preferred (specifically Vista) Understanding of job cost accounting, contract administration, certified payroll and lien releases is preferred Knowledge of sales, use and B&O tax filing is preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively, professionally and diplomatically interface at all levels Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent Stoner Electric does not engage with or utilize recruiting or placement agencies for any recruiting or hiring needs. What You Will Do
- Prepare, create, and submit a high volume of project billings and T&M as needed
- Perform contract administration tasks including contract and change order processing / tracking, preparation of payment applications and lien releases and assisting with schedule of values preparation
- Setup contracts and projects and service work orders in accounting software
- Maintain organized records of billing activities
- Track and update accounting software (Vista) for billings
- Prepare substantiated cost billings for multiple projects per contract terms by gathering supported documentation (daily reports, field and staff timecards, material and sub invoices, tool and delivery logs, etc.)
- Utilize portal invoicing as required by customers
- Research and verify discrepancies between contracts and billings. Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure billings meet the required deadlines
- Assist with cash collection of past due balances
- Perform other duties as requested
