Job Schedule : Full time

This position will be focused on the areas of EEG testing and monitoring for all age groups, neonate through adult. After orientation a varying schedule of shifts will be assigned and the position will include on-call hours. As the EMU grows all trained staff will work in the EMU as well.

Responsible for performing procedures or testing for all patient populations. Understands testing equipment : structure, function, use, effects on patients, and maintenance

Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred. Completion of department approved training program is required.

Working knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP) instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions is preferred.
