The Radiology Department for both UW Montlake and Northwest campus has an outstanding opportunity for a REGISTERED NURSE EDUCATOR / ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER (RN3) .
WORK SCHEDULE
Full time variable days per week.
Must be able to work both at UW Medicine Montlake Campus and Northwest Campus
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our RADIOLOGY / IMAGING SERVICES RNs provide radiology care for patients from all areas of UWMC, inpatient and outpatient. RN's who work in our department provide procedural care including IV starts, conscious sedation monitoring and nursing assessment.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- The RN for Clinical Oversight (RN3) provides professional nursing care; provides leadership for unit functions with focus on developing education programs, new employee orientation, clinical resource for staff; and supports quality and safety outcomes.
- Will also assist the Nurse Manager to develop, maintain, and evaluate the on-going operations of the unit.
- Looking for a leader who can inspire staff to be creative, proactive
- Top candidate is an expert communicator with a proven track record building cohesive teams.
- Understanding of evidence-based practice and is an innovative problem solver who can run with a project.
