Job descriptionPlans, organizes, and implements projects in support of District's growing information demands. Ensures the effective use of District resources. Contributes to policies for effective process planning as it relates to new requirements. Possesses expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment with particular emphasis on planning, analysis, design and implementation of reports and report interfaces intended for the end user. Participates in short-term tactical planning implementation. Contributes to long-term strategic planning.

Role Description :
The Database Administrator provides, at minimum, the following general services related to Microsoft SQL Server databases :
- Designs and maintains on premises SQL Server databases and tables
- Provide customer support, to internal and external customers
- Produce system and custom reports upon request using SQL queries
- Reviews and prepares technical documentation, including data dictionaries definitions, systems flows, program flows, database designs,
- Oversee enhancements and new feature deployment, including the development requirements and testing scripts
- Responsible for database problem diagnosis and resolution
- Recommends improvements to database systems based on the latest developments within the IT field
Responsibilities :
Minimum Education / Certification Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Skill Required No. of Years Actual Years of Experience 11-15 yrs. database design, documentation, and coding 11 11-15 yrs. SQL experience 11 11-15 yrs. designing and implementing reports and report interfaces 11 Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Databases 7 Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
