About the role

As a Web Developer at Bloxley, you'll be responsible for building responsive, intuitive web solutions that prioritize seamless user experiences, security, and performance in the fintech space.

You'll work with modern web technologies like Next.js and React to create high-performance applications that serve users across multiple countries. What you’ll be doing

Web Application Development : Build high-performance web applications using Next.js (App Router) to power our global banking platform

Responsive Design : Develop responsive interfaces with Tailwind CSS and custom media queries that work seamlessly across all devices

API Integration : Efficiently integrate RESTful APIs to deliver real-time financial data and services

Advanced Rendering : Handle dynamic rendering, routing, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)

Performance Optimization : Optimize frontend performance through SEO best practices, lazy loading, and efficient code splitting

Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Problem Solving : Debug and resolve UI / UX issues to ensure smooth user experiences

Code Quality : Participate in code reviews and project planning to maintain high development standards

What skills you’ll need

️ Frontend Expertise : 3+ years of professional frontend web development experience

️ Modern Frameworks : Expertise in Next.js, React.js, and JavaScript / TypeScript

Styling Mastery : Advanced proficiency with Tailwind CSS and responsive design principles

API Integration : Proven experience with REST API integration and data management

️ Development Tools : Familiarity with Git / GitHub workflows and modern development tooling

Communication : Excellent communication skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code

Bonus Points

Experience with fintech or financial services web development

Knowledge of web security best practices and compliance requirements

Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI / CD pipelines

Understanding of SEO optimization and web performance metrics
