Seeking a Nursing Director to provide leadership to Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU), and Dialysis. The Director of is accountable for the clinical, operational, and fiscal performance of the designated unit.
This position oversees the execution of short and long term strategies to support organizational goals, and establishes and ensures compliance with standards of clinical care, and maintains accountability for staffing, quality, safety, service and clinical excellence throughout these areas. Other responsibilities include assisting Clinical Managers / supervisors with Evidence Based Leadership, supporting nursing professional practice, and responding to any patient or physician’s complaints in an administrative leadership role.
Qualifications :
- Typically provides leadership to managers and / or frontline level professional staff
- Typically, accountable for the performance and results of multiple teams performing related activities
- Develops long-term plans and strategies for area of defined responsibility aligned with established functional strategies, and works with subordinate managers to operationalize and execute the strategy

- Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing with three (3) years or more years’ experience in all aspects of critical care nursing.
- Current RN license within the state of practice
- Successful completion of critical care course
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS Certification
- CPI certification within six months of hire
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional language preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
