Job description

Job Summary:

  • A Document/Process Control Engineer manages, maintains, and controls project documentation, including technical documents like drawings and blueprints, including Work instructions (SOP), Process Documentation and assists the Quality Engineer with Documentation Library.
  • Weekly review with Engineering colleagues and Production supervisor ensuring all associated Documentation is up to date and available to the production operators.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Company’s document library.
  • Review all documentation with Engineering team ensuring up to date and accurately depicts activity described in documentation.
  • Ensure latest approved Document is available to appropriate personal and at appropriate work station.

Auditing and compliance:

  • Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Training:

  • Train other employees on document control policies and best practices.

Reporting:

  • Prepare reports on document control activities for management.

Support:

  • Assist personnel with document requests and provide updates on document status.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Successful completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent, plus some additional specialized training.
  • Successful completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent, plus completion of two years of college or graduation from a two-year technical college with an associate’s degree.
  • Successful completion of 4 years of college with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering filed (such as mechanical or electoral), business administration, or information, management.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in document control, engineering support, or a related filed information management.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management software, excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Key technical skills also include understanding engineering and technical documentation, knowledge of quality control standards, ISO knowledge beneficial. Powered by JazzHR
