Job description

Program Specialist

This role will be on-site hybrid at our Rosemont, IL or Milwaukee, WI office.

The Program Specialist will manage and execute projects across Indirect Procurement, supply chain and operations optimization, and procurement synergy initiatives. The Program Specialist will oversee cross-functional activities throughout each project's lifecycle. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-driven, able to execute multiple priorities, and a strong problem solver who applies practical judgment and common-sense solutions.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Indirect Sourcing, this role will have a primary focus on Indirect Procurement categories, including but not limited to Travel and Fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a blend procurement-focused initiatives across the enterprise.
  • Partner with Indirect Category Managers to define project scope, objectives, roles, and responsibilities, ensuring effective coordination and communication with all impacted stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage changes to project scope, balancing constraints and communicating impacts to budget and schedule to leadership.
  • Recognize emerging issuestechnical or otherwisethat may affect project performance and take timely corrective action.
  • Demonstrate managerial courage and leadership by escalating program risks or challenges promptly and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive solutions.
  • Represent the project team in project meetings and executive report-outs, addressing questions, identifying action items, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Administer enterprise Fleet and Car Reimbursement programs.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues raised by travelers, travel arrangers, and vendors.
  • Coordinate room blocks, registrations, and logistics for large company events.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Supply Chain preferred.
  • 7+ years of Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Ability to support diverse business needs across multiple segments in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable solutions.
  • Experience with business and operational segmentation; 80/20 methodology preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence to drive measurable results.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills.
  • High initiative and ownership of business outcomes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, and SAP or similar ERP systems.

Travel: Up to 30%

Language: English

Compensation Details: $ 89,800 - $110,000The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
