Position Summary :
The Program Associate provides a variety of routine clerical functions within a behavioral health outpatient office setting.
Scheduled Hours : Work hours will vary to include some evening and Saturday hours; Hours of operation will vary based on clinic location.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Works in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking, excellent customer service & interpersonal skills to greet clients & visitors promptly and courteously.
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Verifying insurance and collecting copays
- Data entry
- Scanning / downloading info into the ECR.
- Handling client questions and concerns
- Attends agency meetings and completes required trainings.
- Checks vital signs
- Obtains prior authorization for medical services or medications
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED and 1yr of general office or administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications :
