Job Description
- Directly manage a growing team of approximately 2-4 staff members.
- Responsible for staffing activities, including interviewing, training, performance evaluations, guiding workload, providing coaching, and managing corrective action when needed.
- Ensure all leadership actions align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day performance of customer operations and purchasing, ensuring responsive communication with clients and suppliers.
- Establish and uphold service benchmarks such as inquiry response times, quote turnaround, order confirmations, supplier commitments, and delivery accuracy.
- Monitor and report on essential business performance indicators.
- Serve as a primary contact for escalated customer or supplier issues, driving timely resolutions and supporting root-cause analysis.
- Manage processes related to aging or obsolete inventory.
- Act as a liaison with internal teams to support cross-functional needs and resolve operational roadblocks.
- Approve setup and onboarding for new customers and vendors.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance compared to targets.
- Complete additional assignments as directed by leadership.
