  • Manage and steward the early childhood ministry budget, including planning, allocating resources, and making purchasing decisions that support strategic priorities and operational needs.
  • Drive process improvements across areas such as volunteer systems, safety practices, check-in procedures, and parent communication to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and oversee volunteer and staffing strategy, including recruitment, training, leadership development, and retention systems that build a strong and sustainable team culture.

  • Strengthen parent engagement and communication strategies, creating clear pathways for connection, trust, and partnership with families in the early childhood phase.
  • Collaborate with and advise Kids Ministry leadership, contributing insight and recommendations that shape broader ministry strategy, staffing models, and family engagement approaches.
  • Oversee the church's paid childcare for ministry events outside of regular Kids Ministry programming, including coordinating staffing coverage, scheduling and supporting childcare workers, and ensuring childcare environments align with established safety and care standards.
  • Develop, lead, and implement events for infants through age 3, including, but not limited to, Baby Dedication and Pop In & Playcreating meaningful experiences for both children and their families.
