Position Summary :
Digital Operations Manager, QA, is responsible for manual and automated Quality Assurance evaluation of all hoopla digital products and content related reported errors. They enforce policies, establish Quality Assurance rules, and troubleshoot ingestion-related issues for the organization. The Digital Operations Manager, QA also assists with company and department-driven projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and / or ability requirements listed below.
- Understand and coordinate team members’ work assignments by setting task priorities to satisfy required production standards and deadlines.
- Identify and execute process optimization opportunities, benefiting productivity and quality.
- Oversee product quality assurance within databases with accuracy and completeness while satisfying the respective deadlines for incoming new product launches.
- Manage and track operational KPIs. Present reports to senior leadership as needed.
- Work closely with other digital operations managers to conduct productivity reviews, resolve issues, and improve processes.
- Serve as product owner for internal Quality Assurance applications and development liaison.
- Identify and implement employee training strategies designed to foster employee development.
- Identify and take action to reconcile trending systemic data errors or workflow failures or report them to the department Sr. Manager.
- Address questions within the organization and department related to issues impeding production at required output standards.
- Provide input to Sr. Manager regarding team resource planning and participate in recruitment and hiring efforts.
- Review and approve employee timecards and time-off requests per company policies.
- Supervisor of QA team, addresses team concerns, and completes requirements in ADP for team members including performance reviews.
