The Quantitative Analyst will be fully embedded within the U.S. Midcap Growth investment team working to combine quantitative with fundamental analysis to deliver performance. The team employs a fundamentally driven stock selection model to assess company quality, valuation, and growth characteristics that is under perpetual development. Researching and updating portfolio manager and analyst insights is integral to the model’s long-term efficacy. Factor as well as stock specific risk modeling will also be an ongoing workflow for team risk awareness and trading support. The analyst will also work closely with the team’s client portfolio manager to support client communication in order to drive asset growth in Midcap Growth strategies.
Major responsibilities :
Quantitative Research and Modeling
- Partner with portfolio managers and analysts on researching new strategies, back-testing investment ideas and enhancing investment process to deliver alpha.
- Assist in the development and generation of investment ideas by both utilizing fundamental analysis and creating incremental quantitative reports that identify potentially attractive stocks.
- Build and maintain empirical models for stock selection and portfolio construction in collaboration with investment team.
- Perform risk & return analysis to understand drivers of results and identify opportunities to improve risk-adjusted returns across Midcap Growth strategies.
- Design analytical tools for managing unintended portfolio risk exposures, evaluate liquidity risks and perform scenario analysis.

For New York and California based candidates, the salary range for this role is $135K - $165K. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
