As a Sr. Salesforce Developer / SME supporting CMS, you will be trusted to work on Salesforce platform and provide IT development in support of Marketplace initiatives. This position is 100% remote with work schedules based on Eastern Standard Time (EST). In this role, a typical day will include : + Collaborating withSolutions Architects, Development Manager, Development Team, Business Analysts,CMS, and other Agile team membersto solvecomplex policy and system integration involving activities across severalSalesforce Orgs. + Asan organized, analyticalproblem solver, you willcontribute to the Agile team’s sprint work todesign, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications. + Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives. + Create,updateand maintain system documentation + Write process requirementsandtechnical design documents + Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative Agile environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices + Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technologyimprovements, development best practices, standardization,andupgrades + Provide mentoring and development guidance to junior team members + Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization WHAT YOU’LL NEED : Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field + Hands-on experience d eveloping customized solutions within the Salesforce platform Hands-on experience d esigning, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications Experience with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL + xperience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform including Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc. + Experience working on Salesforce communities and Sites + Experience implementingfull life cycle project in Lightning and have expert level working knowledge on major Salesforce.com technologies including Lightning web components, Apex Web Services, Visualforce, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex,etc + Experienced in web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSSand JavaScript, WSDL + Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs + Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github,BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VSCode, IntelliJ, SFDX) + Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development + Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements,and “how-to” assistance + Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : US citizen, EAD,or a Green Card holder + SalesforcePlatform DeveloperII certification + Healthcare Service Industry or Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience + Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint + Experience with infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) + Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as, but not limited to : SAFe, Scrum, Kanban + 4Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner or other Agile certification + Possess Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification please include certification # on resume or in submission)_ WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU : Full-flex work week + 401K with company match + Customizable health benefits packages + Collaborative teams of highly motivated critical thinkers and innovators + Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career + Rewards program for high-performing employees \#GDITPriority Not sure this job’s the one for you?
