Job Title : Laboratory Science Professional

Job Summary :
Key Responsibilities :
Intermediate Level :
- Utilize a variety of laboratory techniques required for research projects under the direction of the Laboratory Director.
- Procure surgically discarded tissues from various UC Health surgical clinics as necessary as a back-up to the primary tissue collection specialist.
- Pick up, transport, and log patient samples and materials related to tissue procurement as needed.
- Maintain a lab notebook, analyze, tabulate, and present results during lab meetings.
- Prepare lab for daily operations including validating and maintaining equipment, creating a safe and clean environment for research.
- Maintain lab inventory including ordering and stocking supplies,
- Be willing to handle biohazards, chemicals, and laboratory equipment. Complete any associated training or certification.

Intermediate : $48,970-$62,290
Senior : $52,941-$67,341
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
