Logging - kibana indexes, troubleshoot missing logs, fine tune logging size, optimization of logstash size, thorough working knowledge of elastic search, kibana and logstash, create visualizations in the dashboard, alerts
Works on troubleshooting application integration issues with Dev, QA, or other Dev Ops teams and incident Management team to drive issues towards closure.
Should have implemented DevOps practices/tools in areas such as continuous integration, environment automation, release automation, virtualization and metrics tracking
Server Administration / Systems Engineer / Network Engineer
Hands on experience with administering Windows, Linux and Cloud systems
Support regular OS patching, resolve security vulnerabilities
Understands how to troubleshoot transaction failures/error rate/higher response time within an application environment and identify the root cause; Network issues, Routing Issues, iRules configurations, API Gateway, GSLB, SAN, database. Understanding of various network zones, internal/external traffic
Thorough knowledge of various topologies of LB
Thorough working knowledge of identifying network latencies between systems, traceroute, curl, netstat, ping etc
Possesses a solid understanding of modern web application architecture, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, complex cloud network and security topologies
Album configuration – enable/disable DC, route incoming traffic based on filters
Experience to build, maintain and support self-service VM provisioning systems like SteelCoud/Elastic Cloud
Should have directly worked on creating enterprise level cloud platforms like infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), AWS, Cloud Foundry (PaaS)
Understanding of serverless applications
Excellent knowledge of these scripting languages like Unix shell/Groovy/PowerShell/Perl/ CLI
