OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a PR & Social Intern who's passionate about social media, influencer marketing, earned media, and the latest trends taking over TikTok. The PR & Social Intern will assist in researching, strategizing, brainstorming, and analyzing content, data, and media opportunities across our PR, social, and influencer campaigns. While the day-to-day tasks of the intern will vary, primary responsibilities will include:

• Social & Influencer Marketing:
  • Brainstorming and ideating campaigns and concepts across social clients
  • Researching and providing strategic recommendations for influencers tied to client objectives
  • Creating authentic and engaging social content for Reels, TikToks and Stories as needed
  • Publishing and assisting in community management across key social accounts
  • Analyzing content across influencer and social platforms to assist in providing campaign reporting
  • Researching timely trends across social platforms and assisting in the development of the agency trend report
• PR & Earned Media:
  • Monitoring key publications and top industry news outlets to keep internal teams informed of trending industry news
  • Assisting in the development of media lists for earned media outreach
  • Supporting the drafting of press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and talking points
  • Compiling monthly data on sentiment, activity, and engagement across PR and social efforts
  • Assisting in translating data into actionable insights and optimizations

At Bailey Lauerman, our PR and social teams work together to ensure we are on top of trending content, conversations, and media opportunities-pushing our clients to create engaging content that earns attention. We're looking for someone to join our team who:

• Has a passion for content creation, storytelling, and media trends
• Can think both analytically and creatively, helping enhance performance based on data and big thinking
• Monitors and keeps pace with daily and weekly social trends, conversations, and media cycles
• Is knowledgeable about influencer marketing and best practices in PR
• Is proactive and looks for ways to assist, even when not asked

This summer internship runs from June 2 to August 6, with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. In-office attendance is required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at our downtown Omaha office, with the opportunity for additional hours based on department needs.
