Position Overview
Pro Resources is seeking a reliable and hardworking Tank Sorter to join our client's team. This position plays a key role in keeping operations moving by organizing and preparing empty gas cylinders for refilling.
This is an outdoor position, so candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions year-round.
What You'll Do
- Sort and organize empty gas cylinders (propane, oxygen, argon, nitrogen, and other industrial gases)
- Inspect tanks for visible damage or irregularities
- Stage cylinders appropriately for refilling
- Load and move pallets of tanks as needed
- Operate a forklift approximately 10% of the time to transport pallets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when handling compressed gas cylinders
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to lift, roll, and move heavy cylinders throughout the shift
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous warehouse, yard, or industrial experience is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day
- Frequently lifting and moving heavy cylinders (team lift on heavy items)
- Comfortable working in heat, cold, wind, and other outdoor conditions
