Job Summary:

The Programmer/Analyst (.Net Developer) role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications within a government health department setting. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders, adherence to security protocols, and delivering high-quality solutions to support departmental operations. The role is full-time, onsite in Montgomery, Alabama, with a contract duration of six months and potential conversion to a merit position.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain .Net applications according to project requirements.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs.
Participate in virtual or phone interviews initially, followed by onsite engagement.
Ensure compliance with departmental security standards and background check requirements.
Prepare and submit required documentation including resumes, RTR, and cover letters.
Support testing, debugging, and deployment of software solutions.
Work closely with management to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a .Net Developer or Programmer/Analyst.
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status required.
Ability to pass a Standard Background Check and Drug Screen.
Strong knowledge of .Net framework and related development tools.
Experience working onsite in Montgomery, Alabama.
Ability to provide documentation for employment verification and eligibility.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience working in government or public health environments.
Familiarity with HireRight background check and drug screening processes.
Prior experience with virtual interview processes.
