Our client is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join their team. As part of the engineering team, you will see products through the engineering prototype phase to series production. You will be responsible for designing and developing new technology offerings within the Power Distribution team. This includes power test equipment, temporary back-up power products, and battery storage technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and motivated engineer who enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems with creative and innovative solutions while working together with multiple different cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will :

• Define, design, prototype, develop, and commercialize a range of products including load banks, temporary generator docking stations, UL-891-compliant switchboards, automatic transfer switches, and more.
• Design schematics and specify required equipment for multi-layer power distribution systems.
• Define new product integration testing plans.
• Lead electrical design efforts across a range of new technology initiatives.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to design engineers, test technicians, and assembly personnel.
